Our commitments

Safety at sea, our first requirement

A boat trip should remain a pleasure. Here is what we put in place, at every departure, to make sure it is.

Our approach

Eight commitments, on every trip

We would rather cancel a trip than take a risk. Your loved ones are counting on you, and you are counting on us.

“If there is the slightest doubt about the weather or the state of the sea, we do not go out.”

Our golden rule
  • 01

    A qualified crew

Our skipper and crew hold the required licences and qualifications, all kept up to date. They know the lagoon and its sensitive areas.

  • 02

    A compliant, well-maintained boat

The boat is checked before every trip: engine, fuel, navigation equipment. Regular maintenance is carried out in line with regulations.

  • 03

A life jacket for every passenger

Approved life jackets, in sufficient numbers and in all sizes, including for children. They must be worn during the crossing.

  • 04

A safety briefing before every departure

Before boarding, every passenger is given the instructions: wearing the life jacket, behaviour on board, emergency procedure.

  • 05

    Weather and sea conditions checked

We check the forecast before every trip. If conditions are not good, we cancel or reschedule, with no compromise.

  • 06

    Limited group sizes

We limit the number of passengers to keep the boat comfortable and to watch over everyone carefully, on board and in the water.

  • 07

    Communication and rescue equipment

VHF radio and phone on board, first-aid kit, mandatory safety equipment and a crew trained in emergency first aid.

  • 08

    Respect for the lagoon

No touching the turtles, no taking coral, no litter left on the beaches: we protect what makes Mayotte beautiful.

For passengers

A few habits for a worry-free trip

  • Listen to the departure briefing and ask your questions
  • Keep your life jacket on throughout the crossing
  • Stay seated while the boat is moving
  • Tell us about any health issue before boarding
  • Do not swim away from the boat without the crew's approval
